The Science of Love
September 7, 2006
Check out this extremely interesting presentation by Helen Fisher. In this video, Fisher talks about the biological basis of love, the three types of love humans exhibit (lust, romantce, and attachment) and the three brain centers that control these emotions, what love may or may not look like in the coming years, and much much more.
Really, this talk makes some interesting points that anyone interested in love should find fascinating. And let’s be honest, who isn’t interested in love?
Don’t be put off by the ’scientific’ bend of the talk, either. Helen Fisher is no reductionist.
Have a great, love-filled day.
I’m not feeling the love right now, man… I just don’t feel like making a commitment because its annoying when the woman reminds you of that commitment, lol.
Of course, that is extremely uncongruent to my sexual desires but hey… I’ll live.
The golden rule is, “I just want, bang bang bang”
